Experts have revealed that 2024 has been the hottest year in recorded history, and these scorching temperatures will continue into 2025. With one month left to go in the year, 2024 is now expected to break the 1.5° Celsius (2.7°F) threshold for surface temperature warming as set at the 2015 Paris climate talks – a worrying sign that the global community is not doing enough to combat climate change.
