McConnell links $2,000 direct checks to Trump's social media and election demands

Payments to Americans are on the way but they will be $600 rather than $2,000 as President Donald Trump and many congressional Democrats would have preferred. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blocked the quickest path to increasing those payments to $2,000. CNBC’s Eamon Javers reports.
