Peng Shuai, the Chinese tennis star who has been the focus of intense international concern made an appearance at a youth tennis event in Beijing on November 21, 2021, according to images posted online by the event organiser. The former top-ranked doubles player disappeared from public view earlier in early November after she went online to accuse a retired, high-level government official of coercing her into sex several years ago.
