Barack Obama told Oprah Winfrey that President Donald Trump has been held to a different standard than every other President.
The former US president said the change of standards is down to the fact Mr Trump breached so many presidential norms. Alluding to his own presidency, Obama said that ‘presidential firsts’ are often under greater scrutiny.
When asked to describe in one word how he felt upon finding out Joe Biden was elected president, Obama said he was ‘thrilled’.
