BREAKING: Trump on concession – 'certainly, I will leave this building'

Donald Trump says he will leave White House if the United States Electoral College convenes to elect Joe Biden president.

Mr Biden is due to be inaugurated on 20th January, and the Electoral College is due to meet on 14th December.

Trump made the comments at the White House after speaking to U.S. troops during the traditional Thanksgiving Day address to U.S. servicemembers.

Biden won the presidential election with 306 Electoral College votes to Trump’s 232, and he also leads Trump by more than 6 million in the popular vote tally.

Trump has so far refused to concede the election and continues to claim that the election was marred by widespread fraud.
