China’s first home-grown large cruise ship, the Adora Magic City, is set to begin sea trials. The 135,500-tonne ship, which left its dock in Shanghai on June 6, 2023, represents a breakthrough for the country’s shipbuilding and high-end manufacturing after the launch of the C919 passenger jet.
