Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra called on Delhi residents to vote in large numbers in today’s Assembly election and not be “lazy”. “Everyone should come out and vote. It is extremely important. Don’t be lazy,” she says. Polling booths across Delhi opened at 8 am but the first three hours saw poor voter turnout; only 6.28 per cent was reported till 11 am.
