For six hours on Monday, billions of people around the world could not use Facebook, Instagram or Whatsapp to communicate.
Facebook blamed a technical glitch for one of its worst outages in years.
It is the company’s latest headache, after a former employee accused it of putting profits ahead of safety concerns.
