Iran’s Ebrahim Raisi after ‘strategic’ ties in South America tour

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is wrapping up a visit to Nicaragua, where he has met President Daniel Ortega in Managua.
The visit is part of a three South American countries of Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba and the tour is expected to include political and economic deals.
Prior to his departure, the president had described Iran’s relations with the South American countries as “strategic.”
