Keir Starmer speaks for first time as new Prime Minister | UK General Election – BBC

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has given his first speech as UK prime minister.

Addressing the nation outside Number 10 Downing Street in London, the new prime minister promised to “rebuild” the country’s “infrastructure of opportunity… brick by brick”.

Labour achieved a landslide victory in the UK general election – ending 14 years of Conservative government.
