More than 15,000 participants gathered in the Indonesian capital Jakarta to set a new Guinness World Record for largest ensemble of angklung performers on August 5, 2023. The angklung is a traditional Indonesian bamboo instrument that hails from the ethnic Sudanese community living on Java island.
